A chair on the moon
NASA is going to launch a human exploration of the Moon by 2018.
If Nasa had to choose a chair for the people staying on the moon outpost they would naturally choose a modern and durable one.
Not only is it modern to use a recycling material to build a shape designed for a life time, but it is indeed to have the possibility to destroy it and build
a new object with the same material in an almost endless process. It’s just a real product, no luxury or fake promisses, good value, honesty.

It’s the classic Navy chair with arms. and a more curved back. Not so original.

It is indeed a Navy Chair. The point here was to explain how modern I consider Emeco. It is more a statement about their production approach than just “design and style” and it is quite an exercice to make you think of a Navy Chair whithout reproducing it.
